Expressions of Interest to join the Irish Life GAA Healthy Clubs Programme is now open

Expressions of Interest to join the Irish Life GAA Healthy Clubs Programme will open on November 18th 2023 and close on January 5th 2024.

If your club is interested in joining the Irish Life GAA Healthy Clubs Programme please fill out the expression of interest form and the subsequent application form. The next cycle of the Irish Life GAA Healthy Clubs programme will begin in spring 2024 until Autumn 2025.

Healthy Club Officers involved in the Irish Life GAA Healthy Club project since Phase 1 (2013)- Phase 5 (2022) can use their unique login details to access the portal and update their club account and reports accordingly. The Healthy Clubs portal is only available to clubs registered with the GAA Community & Health Department.

The Irish Life GAA Programme aims to help GAA clubs explore how they support the holistic health of their members and the communities they serve.

The healthy club model, which is based on best national and international practice, also aims to embed a healthy philosophy in a club while integrating health into the day-to-day club activities in a sustainable way.
It also aims to place the local GAA club at the heart of the community, making it a beacon for health in the locale.
